Welcome to Tour de France Tips

Welcome to tdftips.com. This site is dedicated to unearthing tips, tricks and things to watch out for when heading to Europe not just to follow the Tour de France, but to participate in L’Etape du Tour, or cycling in France in general – including knowing where to find great coffee and free wifi.

We’re not looking at Giro or Vuelta tips yet, though I have set things up for this.

I’ve just returned from the 2009 Tour and realised that there was no readily available info in one spot discussing all the things I needed to know (and those I wish I had have – like the AUD$2100 mobile phone bill).

There are a whole bunch of other things needing pointing out including road tolls, camping, logistics and so on, so stay tuned by subscribing to the site via RSS or via email.

Cool, and thanks for reading!

Tim
